Yesterday (11/07/2006) there are seven bombs ripped this financial hub of south Asia subcontinent apart. Death toll: 174 and more than 700 injured (12/07/06).

Day in day out, we see people died of natural disasters, plane crashes, mine explosions, brutal wars etc from TV. They are on TV every day. Never such a terrorism attacks is so close to us. We were there using the western line of suburban railway in April 2006 – during the peak commuting hours, e among these people – some of them may die. My deepest condolences. Also learnt from the wiki that because of the overcrowding
1. 4,700 passengers are packed into a 9-car rake during peak hours, as against the rated carrying capacity of 1,700.
2.  Every year 3,500 people die on the Mumbai suburban railway track due to overcrowding during peak hours. Most of the fatality is caused by trespassing tracks and hit by locomotives.
